OUR STORY
Our story began 48 years ago when Jacqueline,
who came from Belgium for a trip, fell in love in Turkey…
and years later, Jacqueline and her son Tarık, spent unforgettable moments together in the kitchen - making (though mostly eating!) desserts
After years abroad,
Tarık moved back to Turkey however,
he was unable to find that soft-baked cookie texture and flavor
he enjoyed in childhood. And, inspired by those precious kitchen moments
with his mother, he created Jacqueline Cookies in 2014
Since the day it was founded, Jacqueline Cookies has provided that unique cookie softness (using all-natural ingredients) to Istanbul, and now beyond
Nowadays, as you can see when you pass by our store most mornings,
Tarık still prepares the cookies himself
and Jacqueline helps in a way only a mother can
